Terms of service

Pulse Mail is a free, open-source desktop Gmail client released under the MIT License. These terms are the short version of what that already means for you as a user. The license text controls if anything here disagrees.

What you get

You may use, copy, modify, and distribute Pulse Mail, including commercially, subject to the MIT License (keep the copyright notice). Source is at github.com/abdallahsaber065/pulse-mail.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The authors are not liable for claims, damages, or other liability arising from the software. That is the MIT License in plain words — read it.

Your Gmail, your machine

Pulse Mail talks to Google with permissions you grant. You are responsible for:

How your Google data is handled is described in the privacy policy, not here.

Not Google

Pulse Mail is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC.

Platform notes

Windows is the daily-driver platform. macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux builds exist and are experimental. Installers are not Authenticode-signed (Windows SmartScreen may warn) and macOS builds are unsigned (right-click → Open). That is a distribution limitation, not a promise they are malware-free — review the source, or don’t run it.

This website

The GitHub Pages site is documentation: product description, privacy policy, and these terms. It does not create a paid contract or a support obligation.

Changes

If these terms change, the new text will land in the same repository with an updated effective date. Using a given version of the app is using that version’s license.
